Senior Avionics Engineer - Ground Systems

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Avionics Engineer with a specialization in ground systems to join their team in Pretoria . This role focuses on the development, integration, and maintenance of sophisticated ground-based avionics infrastructure that supports aircraft operations, testing, and training. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of communication systems, navigation aids, radar simulators, and data processing platforms essential for flight operations.

• Design, develop, and implement advanced avionics ground support systems and infrastructure.

• Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, network diagrams, and operational procedures.

• Master's degree in Avionics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in avionics engineering, with a strong focus on ground systems.
• Expertise in communication systems, radar technology, navigation aids, and data networks relevant to aviation.
• Proficiency in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electronic systems.
