Junior Chemical Engineer - Production Support

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Chemical Engineer to join their production support team in Pretoria . You will work closely with experienced engineers to provide technical assistance for chemical manufacturing processes, troubleshoot operational issues, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

• Assist senior engineers in monitoring and optimizing daily production processes.
• Support troubleshooting efforts for operational deviations and quality issues on the plant floor.
• Participate in process data collection, analysis, and reporting to identify areas for improvement.
• Help in the implementation of process modifications and minor capital projects under supervision.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and environmental regulations in all production activities.
• Contribute to the development and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering .
• Strong academic record with a solid understanding of core chemical engineering principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with process simulation software is a plus.
