Civil Draftsman

A well-established company is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draughtsman to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and assisting with the preparation of civil engineering documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD skills, good technical understanding, and the ability to work closely with engineers, project managers and other professionals.

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop and modify drawings according to project requirements.
• Interpret engineering designs, sketches and technical specifications.
• Produce plans, layouts, sections and detailed construction drawings.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate and comply with project specifications.
• Make revisions and updates to drawings as required.
  
  Maintain proper drawing files and revision records.
• Assist engineers with technical drawings and project documentation.
• Liaise with engineers and project teams to ensure drawing requirements are met.
• Assist with as-built drawings and drawing updates where required.
• Ensure drawings are completed within project deadlines.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Relevant Civil Draughting qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Civil Draughtsman.
• Strong AutoCAD skills.
• Knowledge of civil engineering drawing standards and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
