Assistant Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Production Manager in planning and scheduling all entertainment and activities on board a cruise ship
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of all shows and events
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of production staff, including performers, technicians, and other crew members
• Monitor and maintain inventory of all production equipment and supplies
• Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed during rehearsals and performances
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote upcoming shows and events
• Conduct regular evaluations and provide feedback to production staff to improve performance and maintain high-quality standards
• Assist with budget management and cost control measures
• Handle any guest complaints or concerns related to production and entertainment activities
• Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for new and innovative entertainment ideas

• Bachelor's degree in Theater, Performing Arts, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in production management, preferably in the entertainment industry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of technical aspects of production, including lighting, sound, and stage management
• Experience in budget management and cost control
• Willingness to work irregular hours and travel as needed
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary travel documents for international travel
