About the Role
We are looking for a Finance & Payroll Administrator to join our finance team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day accounting function and the full payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
The payroll component of this role is operational and straightforward, focused on capturing, processing, and running payroll rather than complex payroll strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting

  • Day-to-day bookkeeping and transaction processing on Sage / Xero
  • Creditors capturing on Sage / Xero
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Budget reconciliation and tracking and reporting
  • General support to management with financial insights
Payroll Administration
  • Capture and process monthly payroll
  • Run the full payroll cycle end to end
  • Ensure accurate deductions, allowances, and payments
  • Submit payroll-related statutory returns
  • Maintain payroll records and employee data
  • Liaise with HR where required
  • Pay Space experience will be a strong advantage
Requirements
Essential
  • Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes
Beneficial
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, or IT environments
  • Experience with Pay Space
  • Sage or Xero experience
  • Exposure to multi-currency or multi-entity environments
Qualifications
  • BCom Accounting or similar qualification
  • Articles completed will be advantageous
