Chief Financial Officer

Chief Financial Officer required in Pretoria (Centurion).

My client is based in Centurion and is fast-growing company in the motor industry, making a solid name for themselves. They have an established accounting department with FM, Accountant and Debtors as well as Creditors people.

We need a strong CFO that is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). You will work closely with some of the shareholders.

We are looking for someone to be involved in driving this department forward and being involved from a strategic and operational point of view.

Must come with valuable insight and vision.

Salary: R140,000 – R225,000 per month. The company is happy to compensate according to experience level.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic financial leadership and direction to support the company’s rapid growth trajectory.
• Partner with shareholders and executives on investment decisions, capital structuring, and long-term strategy.
• Oversee the finance department (FM, Accountant, Debtors, Creditors), ensuring strong governance, reporting, and compliance.
• Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Deliver valuable insights and analysis to support business decisions.
• Ensure optimal financing structures and relationships with banks and investors.
• Lead system improvements and process enhancements within finance.

Requirements:

• Qualified CA(SA) with at least 8 years post article experience
• Must be willing to learn all the aspects of the business from an operational perspective.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide strategic insight.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to build and grow a high-performing team.
• Excellent stakeholder management, including experience engaging at shareholder and board level.
