It Support Specialist

A prominent financial services provider has an exciting career opportunity available for an experienced IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST, to join their dynamic team in PRETORIA, GAUTENG.This is a permanent position and office based, which offers a market related salary, including company benefits.

• Minimum matric, with a B – IT degree or relevant diploma in IT or Computer Science highly advantageous and beneficial to the role.
• Up-to-date technical certifications such as CompTIA, CompTIA N+ and Endpoints essential.
• Minimum 3 years' relevant working experience within an IT support role.
• Minimum 3 years' proven experience in IT systems administration, cyber security management principles and system infrastructure maintenance.
• Proven experience in managing desk top support and supplier management i.e :
  Cisco, Mikrotik, Amazon and Google is a requirement to the role.
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office product range.
• Solid knowledge and a thorough understanding of IT network administration – hardware and software infrastructure management.
• Excellent knowledge and experience working with, and troubleshooting issues via Windows Operating Systems.
• Solid knowledge and experience in the technical repair of computer hardware.

• Effective and professional supplier management.
• Fully bi-lingual and eloquent in Afrikaans and English : speak read and write.
• The highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to professionally translate and communicate highly technical issues in a non-technical language.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Tenacious and driven, with the ability to multi-taskpliant with the ability to successfully work under pressure.
• Well-developed change-management abilities.
• Trustworthy and ethical with a strong sense of accountability.

• Valid drivers' license with own reliable transport.
