Data Engineer, Data Analyst
Purpose of the Job:
We are looking for a highly skilled Manager ETL Development with Data Automation skills to join our innovative team in the banking industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with various teams to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.
Job Responsibilities:Data Automation:
- Design and implement automated data pipelines to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain downstream data analysis databases for consumption by the Data Science teams.
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure seamless data integration.
- Optimize data workflows and automate repetitive tasks to enhance productivity.
- Clean, structure, and optimize data for both tactical and strategic use.
- Integrate data from various sources, ensuring consistency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data products with business objectives.
- Automation of feedback loops and data science models to improve efficiency and optimize performance of the organization.
- Explore and implement new technologies to improve data automation processes.
- Contribute to the development of a decentralized data architecture (Data Mesh) to enhance data accessibility and usability.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to maintain high data integrity.
- Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to support data-driven initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Automation Specialist or similar role, with at least 5 years in a senior position.
- Strong expertise in ETL processes, data integration, and automation tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and relevant scripting languages.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of data governance and security practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
