Location:

Pretoria, Gauteng (Hybrid). Industry: Medical Devices / Health Tech.

• Own the full lifecycle of internal tech systems, architecture, data assets, and business intelligence.
• Guide the organization from basic reporting to advanced analytics; drive automation; set governance; build a single source of truth across systems and data.
• Lead high-performing teams; set standards; align roadmaps with business needs; collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Ops, and Engineering to shape scalable systems.
• Design and optimize the business systems ecosystem; lead automation; manage vendors and technical budgets; ensure the data platform is stable, governed, and compliant (GDPR, ISO, HIPAA, FDA, CE).
• Oversee internal BI; manage strategic dashboards; define metrics; drive self-service analytics; ensure decisions are backed by well-governed, high-quality data.

• At least 15 years in tech, systems, or data-focused roles, including 5 years leading teams.
• Experience treating internal systems as products; ability to direct architecture, data governance, BI, and cross-functional delivery.
• Experience with AWS services, data engineering, CRM/ERP ecosystems, system integrations, and vendor management.
• Knowledge of data from source to lake, APIs, and BI environments like Tableau or Qlik.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or similar.
• Salesforce certifications, AWS certifications, or Enterprise Architecture credentials are an advantage.
• Strong SQL fundamentals, analytics design, compliance frameworks (GDPR/HIPAA/ISO), Agile project management, and tools like JIRA.
• Strong communication skills; able to engage executives, technical teams, and stakeholders.
