Your responsibilities will include:

  • Translate business problems into data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, issues, and opportunities.
  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for analytics and modelling.
  • Develop, train, evaluate, and enhance Machine Learning and AI models.
  • Apply model evaluation techniques and define success metrics.
  • Support operational data workflows and resolve day-to-day data processing issues.
  • Produce dashboards, reports, and visualisations that drive business decisions.
  • Communicate insights, model behaviour, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, AI Platform, and Observability teams to product ionise solutions.
  • Contribute to best practices in data quality, governance, and the responsible use of AI.
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and feature engineering.
  • A solid foundation in applied statistics and Machine Learning.
  • Proficiency in Python and data science libraries such as Pandas, Num Py, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or Tensor Flow.
  • Experience with SQL and querying structured and semi-structured data.
  • Knowledge of ETL design and batch/streaming data processing.
  • Exposure to distributed data systems such as Spark, Kafka, or equivalent.
  • Experience with experiment design, model evaluation, and validation techniques.
  • Ability to create dashboards, reports, and data visualisations.
  • Experience using Git for version control and collaborative development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical, data-driven solutions.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in Agile, cross-functional teams.
