• A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or another quantitative field.
• Proven experience in Python, data wrangling, statistical modelling, and machine learning techniques.

• Analyse large-scale IoT (sensors, loggers, telemetry) datasets to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Experiment in the space of creative AI R&D – from anomaly detection to simulations.
• Build intelligent monitoring that reduces false alarms, pinpoints real issues in real time, and surfaces the metrics and insights that matter most.
• Prototype fast, test models boldly, and help move cool ideas into real-world applications.
• Work closely with developers, engineers, and operators to make AI useful, practical, and trusted.
• Good understanding of Python (Pandas, Num Py, Scikit-learn, etc.) and hands‑on experience with Machine Learning and AI techniques.
• Stay curious, challenge the status quo, and help shape the future of smart infrastructure.
• A passion for solving complex problems with elegant, data‑driven solutions.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate insights clearly across technical and non-technical teams.
• An eagerness to learn, experiment, and push innovation forward.
• Position based in either Pretoria, Cape Town or Bloemfontein.
