Technical Pre-Sales Consultant | Cybersecurity Services

This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant with 1-3 years of experience to join a leading cybersecurity consultancy. You'll work alongside Account Managers and technical teams to understand customer requirements, design cybersecurity solutions and develop technical proposals for penetration testing and managed security services. The role combines technical security knowledge with customer engagement, requiring someone who can communicate confidently, understand business challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.

Previous pre-sales or sales engineering experience is ideal, but the business is committed to developing candidates with the right technical aptitude and commercial mindset. They are seeking a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant to bridge the gap between customers, sales teams and technical consultants. You'll translate customer requirements into technically sound cybersecurity solutions, develop proposals, assist with solution design and support Account Managers throughout the sales lifecycle.

This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of technical pre-sales, sales engineering or technical consulting experience who enjoys combining cybersecurity knowledge with customer engagement and commercial thinking.

• Support Account Managers throughout the technical sales process
• Gather and analyse customer requirements
• Design technically sound cybersecurity solutions
• Develop technical proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Respond to RFIs, RFQs and RFPs
• Present and explain cybersecurity services to customers
• Recommend appropriate security assessments and managed services
• Support Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements and demonstrations
• Build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Stay current with cybersecurity trends and service offerings
• Collaborate with Sales, Ethical Hacking, Professional Services, Project Management and Managed Services teams

• 1-3 years' experience in Technical Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering or Technical Consulting
• Good understanding of Information Security concepts
• Knowledge of penetration testing services
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience developing technical proposals and customer-facing documentation
