Junior Reporting Analyst

Location:

Pretoria

Purpose of the role

Support the Service Delivery Manager by collecting, analysing and presenting operational data through dashboards, reports and presentations. Develop Power BI dashboards, improve excel reporting, create executive presentations and provide data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards.
  • Create automated Excel reports and dashboards.
  • Analyse operational, financial and service delivery data.
  • Identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Produce weekly, monthly and executive reports.
  • Build interactive Power BI dashboards using Power Query and DAX.
  • Create professional PowerPoint presentations.
  • Support reporting using SharePoint, Teams, Forms, Outlook, Word and One Drive.
  • Assist with KPI, SLA and productivity reporting.
  • Prepare meeting packs, reports and minutes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Matric (Grade 12) - essential.
  • Diploma or Degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering or Business Management.
  • 1-3 years' experience with Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience building dashboards and analysing business data.
Technical Skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Dynamic Arrays, Charts).
  • Power BI (Dashboards, DAX, Power Query).
  • Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, One Drive).
  • SQL (preferred).
  • Power Automate (advantageous).
