IT Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Engineer

Role Purpose

We’re looking for a hands‑on IT Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Engineer to join Cohesion

X.

We’re an AI software company with a team of around 30 people, and this role sits between internal IT operations and cloud/Dev Ops support. This is not a traditional helpdesk role. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of infrastructure tasks end to end - from setting up a new employee laptop to provisioning a customer cloud environment.

Internal IT (~25%)

• Microsoft 365, Entra  user administration
• Intune and endpoint management
• Laptop setup, formatting, onboarding and offboarding
• Endpoint security, patching and access control
• Office networking, Wi‑Fi and VPN
• IT policies, asset management and general technical support

Cloud & Dev Ops (~75%)

Provisioning Windows and Linux VMs

• AWS and Azure resource administration
• Setting up development, staging and customer environments
• Cloudflare, DNS, SSL/TLS and tunnels
• Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD pipeline support
• Deployment and infrastructure troubleshooting
• Access, credentials and secrets management
• Preparing physical devices for customer deployments
• Linux server administration
• Docker and related infrastructure tooling

Ideally 2–5 years of practical IT infrastructure, systems administration, cloud or Dev Ops experience.

You should be comfortable with:

• Microsoft 365 and Entra
• Windows and Linux
• AWS and/or Azure
• Networking, DNS, VPNs and firewalls
• Git and software deployment concepts
• Troubleshooting infrastructure problems independently

Experience with
Intune, Cloudflare, Azure Dev Ops, Docker, Power Shell/Bash, Terraform or CI/CD pipelines would be a strong advantage.

You don’t need to know every technology on day one.

We’re looking for someone with strong fundamentals who enjoys figuring things out, takes ownership and wants to grow deeper into cloud infrastructure and Dev Ops.
