Enterprise Content Management Architecture

The Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Systems Architect serves as a primary business analyst and technical architect for client enterprise content management initiatives. The position will report to the Director:
Enterprise Architecture and will work directly with the business and other IT resources within Client's business units to design and implement technology solutions that produce desired business results.

Key areas of responsibility:

The ECM Systems Architect is responsible for the following:

• Experience working with ECM software such as SharePoint, Documentum, iManage and Alfresco;
• XML architecture experience;
• Experience developing software that interacts with Oracle, MS SQL, and MySQL databases;
• JavaScript software engineering experience;
• HTML, HTML5, CSS development experience
• Web Services implementing SOAP / RESTfull protocols;
• Two or more years of business and systems analysis experience;
• One or more years of software quality assurance (validation experience is a plus);
• Experience using Microsoft Office, Visio, and Enterprise Architecture software such as Case Wise, Visual Paradigm, iServer, ABACUS, and Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect.
• High level of competency in architecture creation and software engineering implementation.
• Project management experience, preferably PMP certified
• Strong customer relation skills to forge long-term customer confidences
• Proven ability to effectively deliver results as required
• Ability to effectively lead client projects and operate in a team environment
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Strong presentation skills to internal and external clients
• Ability to operate independently under pressure
• Ability to lead and document change
• High level of cultural awareness
• Ability to train system users

Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent professional qualification

• 10 years' experience in ICT
• 10 years' experience in an Enterprise Content Management Architecture

• Must be a South African citizen with a clear criminal record.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
• Able to obtain and retain high level security clearance.
• Ability to travel extensively nationally and work after hours as and when required.

• Self-motivated with the ability to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines.
