About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Dev Ops Engineer to enhance their automation and infrastructure capabilities in Pretoria . In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of their cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to foster a culture of automation and continuous improvement, driving efficiency and stability across the entire software delivery lifecycle.

- Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient CI/CD pipelines for various applications and services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Champion Dev Ops best practices, including infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops or Systems Engineering roles.
- Proven expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Power Shell) and experience with configuration management tools.
- Deep understanding of networking, security principles, and monitoring tools.
