Senior Project Manager - IT Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager specializing in IT Infrastructure to join their team in Pretoria . This role is crucial for driving the successful planning, execution, and deployment of complex IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, data center migrations, and cloud implementations. You will manage project scope, budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies and systems.

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects, such as network rollouts, server migrations, and cloud adoptions.

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including resource allocation, budget tracking, and risk assessment.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure project objectives are met.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT Project Management , with a strong focus on infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies like Agile and Waterfall .
• Solid understanding of network technologies, server administration, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and data center operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or cloud-specific certifications are highly desirable.
