We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of the design, implementation, administration, security, and continuous improvement of a complex enterprise infrastructure environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, scalability, and resilience of both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure services. This role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise across Microsoft technologies, networking, virtualisation, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and enterprise infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, manage, and optimise enterprise infrastructure across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Entra , Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and related technologies.
- Manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless networks, VPNs, and telecommunications services.
- Oversee server, storage, virtualisation, backup, and disaster recovery environments.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure security, governance, compliance, and risk management controls.
- Provide advanced Level 2 and Level 3 infrastructure support and troubleshooting.
- Lead infrastructure projects, technology upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage service providers and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and operational excellence.
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in ICT infrastructure planning, design, implementation, and support.
- Microsoft infrastructure certification or equivalent.
- At least 5 years' experience in a Microsoft systems administration environment.
- Proven experience in cloud, networking, virtualisation, security, backup, and disaster recovery technologies.
- Strong project delivery, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
