About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Architect to design and oversee the evolution of their Cloud Infrastructure in Pretoria . • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native architectures on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for cloud infrastructure development.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure effective implementation of architectural designs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on cloud technologies and methodologies.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance cloud infrastructure capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud performance and reliability.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
  Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 5 years focused on cloud architecture and design.
• Proven experience designing and managing complex cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security principles, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
