E-commerce Platform Manager - Retail

Our client is seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Platform Manager to oversee and optimize their online retail platform. This role is critical for ensuring a seamless and engaging online shopping experience for customers. You will be responsible for managing the platform's functionality, performance, and growth, working closely with development, marketing, and operations teams. This position requires a hands‑on individual with a deep understanding of e-commerce technologies and retail best practices, based in our Pretoria office.

• Manage the day-to-day operations and strategic development of the company's e-commerce platform .
• Oversee website design, user experience (UX), and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement new features, functionalities, and integrations.
• Monitor website performance, uptime, and security, ensuring a stable and reliable online presence.
• Analyze e-commerce data, including sales, traffic, and customer behavior, to drive informed decisions and strategies.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase online sales, customer engagement, and retention.

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management , preferably within the retail industry.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and related technologies.
• Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and A/B testing methodologies.
• Experience with project management and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
