Automotive Cybersecurity Analyst

Our client is looking for a proactive and skilled Automotive Cybersecurity Analyst to join their team, operating in a hybrid work model. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting vehicle networks and connected systems from cyber threats. You will conduct risk assessments, implement security controls, and monitor for potential vulnerabilities. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our automotive products, safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining customer trust.

• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses of automotive systems, including ECUs, communication networks, and mobile applications.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices for automotive cybersecurity.
• Monitor security alerts and events, investigating potential incidents and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Design and implement security controls and countermeasures to protect against identified threats.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security considerations throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies relevant to the automotive sector.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on embedded systems or automotive security.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including cryptography, network security, and risk management.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet) and associated security challenges.
• Experience with security testing tools and vulnerability assessment techniques.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are a plus.
