Fine Picker x

Medipost Pharmacy is seeking 3 Fine-Pick Pickers for our Gezina branch to handle high-precision order fulfillment, stock rotation, and priority parcel processing.

• Accurate picking in the fine-pick department
• Ensure the correct items are picked and adequate quantities are available for processing
• Process parcels according to Priority schedule
• Distributing picked parcels to the assistants
• Ensuring a minimum of delayed deliveries

• Expiry dates
• FEFO/FIFO
• Minimise number of broken packs
• Communicate expiring, damaged and dormant stock to relevant sub- department management
• Ensure all broken packs are marked clearly, to prevent broken packs circulating back into Production
• Consolidating and packing away of broken stock received from fine-pick assistants
• Maintaining good standards of housekeeping.
• Any task as requested by line manager within the employee’s scope of employment

List of qualifications, experience, training and competencies required for the job.

• Ensure all work is picked and distributed to the fine-pick assistants before end of business day
• Ensure that all SLA work is picked before 15h30
• Always prioritise fridge / priority and urgent picking work
• Time manage packing away of broken stock
• Make sure to always collect the broken and full-pick stock from the fine-pick assistants throughout the day

• Ensure the correct items are always picked
• Ensure that work gets evenly distributed amongst the fine-pick assistants
• Look for stock in the whole fine-pick area
• Short dated stock to be noted to the to-follow department

Adherence to policy and procedures

• Learner Basic

• 1 year as a LBA /1 year in Medipost production
• Registered with SAPC
