• Diploma in Purchasing, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or relevant business qualification (e.g. CPIM, Diploma in Logistics,
  
  B.Com Supply Chain)
• Additional training in SAP, forecasting systems, or international logistics advantageous

• 4 to 5 years’ experience in inventory management, purchasing, supply chain or related logistics functions within a manufacturing or automotive environment

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 / VDA standards and procurement governance and compliance procedures

Technical and Behavioural

• Inventory management, sourcing, import logistics, manufacturing lead times, and supplier/freight forwarder management
• Advanced proficiency in SAP, IDIS (or equivalent), and MS Office
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem – solving ability
• Ability to work under pressure in a high
  -volume, time
  -sensitive environment
• Self – driven, organized and methodical; able to work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication at all organizational levels
• Ability to interpret raw data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions
• Confident, assertive approach when dealing with suppliers, service providers and logistics partners
• Customer – service orientation with professional telephone and email etiquette

Key Performance Areas

• Inventory and service management:
  Monitor inventory performance, manage demand and backorders, optimize stock levels, and ensure service level targets are achieved
• Cost control:
  Analyze airfreight costs, manage excess and obsolete inventory, and coordinate supplier claims to improve cost efficiency
• Reporting and analysis:
  Produce inventory, demand, service level, and performance reports to support business decision-making
• Quality and compliance:
  Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/VDA standards, participate in audits, and drive continuous process improvement
• People leadership:
  Lead, coach, develop, and performance-manage a team of Analysts to achieve operational excellence and business objectives
