About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to oversee their sanitation operations in Pretoria , with a focus on remote team management and virtual oversight. You will lead a team of cleaning staff, ensuring all tasks are performed to the highest standards of hygiene and safety. This role involves developing work schedules, training new team members, conducting quality checks, and managing supplies.

- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of cleaning staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high performance.
- Develop and implement detailed cleaning schedules and protocols for various areas.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as needed and ensuring proper storage.
- Maintain records of team performance, cleaning activities, and safety compliance.
- Foster a positive and safety-conscious work environment for the cleaning team.
- Proven experience in a cleaning or janitorial role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals, methods, and equipment, including safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to conduct effective training sessions and performance evaluations.
