Facilities Cleaner

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive Facilities Cleaner to ensure a pristine and welcoming environment at their premises in Pretoria . This role is key to maintaining the overall appearance and hygiene standards of the building, contributing significantly to the comfort and productivity of all occupants. You will be responsible for a wide range of cleaning duties, ensuring all areas are spotless and well-maintained.

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing floors, surfaces, and fixtures.
• Ensure restrooms are kept clean, hygienic, and adequately supplied at all times.
• Empty and clean waste bins, disposing of rubbish and recyclables according to site guidelines.
• Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, meeting rooms, and reception areas.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests or spillages as they arise during the workday.
• Check and replenish cleaning supplies, reporting needs to the facilities manager for procurement.

• Previous experience in a commercial or facilities cleaning role is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe application.
• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment such as floor polishers and vacuum cleaners.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• A professional attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service.
• Physical capability to perform the duties required, including standing and moving for extended periods.
