Junior Facilities Manager

Oversee the overall maintenance, appearance, cleanliness and functionality of the property Manage and support a maintenance team, including daily repairs and emergency call-outs Drive preventative maintenance and ensure issues are addressed promptly Conduct regular inspections, identify potential problems and ensure corrective action is taken Coordinate and manage contractors and service providers Oversee cleaning, security, landscaping and other outsourced services Ensure OHS, health, safety and risk requirements are maintained Keep accurate records of inspections, incidents, repairs and maintenance Manage maintenance-related stock, equipment, furniture and procurement Monitor operational and maintenance budgets and track purchase orders Work closely with the Residence Manager and wider operations team Provide leadership and operational support in the Residence Managers absence Maintain relevant facilities systems and reporting, including maintenance tracking and KPIs

• Matric certificate
• Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services or a related field
• 35 years experience in facilities or maintenance management
• Strong technical aptitude and a practical, hands-on approach
• Solid understanding of preventative maintenance and contractor management
• Good knowledge of OHS, compliance and risk management
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and facilities systems
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable managing people, suppliers and day-to-day operational demands
• Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers licence
• Must be willing to live on site
