Job Purpose/ What will you do:

• Ensuring quality products are produced.
• Practical work exposure in Quality Management
• Site internal & external audits
• Technical Support/Trouble shooting.
• Food safety & quality control
• Technical support/ troubleshooting
• Support of food safety culture plan on site.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Grade 12
• Studying towards a Studying towards a National Diploma:
  Food Technology or Biotechnology (final year)
• As an Intern you will be required to accurately record and keep your workplace exposure (logbook)

Programme Information:

• One year workplace exposure in Quality Assurance and Control.
• You will be working in a Factory Environment
• Required to work Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays as per shift roster.
• Accurate record keeping of your workplace exposure and experience in your logbook, to ensure compliance with Seta and your learning institution reporting
• Proactively report on any formal institutional requirement or training sessions
• Willing to learn on how to translate your theoretical learning into practice
• Perform all tasks communicated and required
• This is a paid internship
