About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Automotive Quality Inspector to join their manufacturing facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that all vehicles and components meet the highest standards of quality and safety before they reach the customer. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions to maintain production excellence. This is a hands-on position requiring a deep understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and a commitment to upholding stringent quality control measures on-site.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed visual and functional inspections of vehicles and automotive components at various stages of production.
- Utilize measurement tools and testing equipment to verify adherence to specifications and tolerances.
- Identify, document, and report non-conformities and potential quality issues to relevant departments.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Develop and refine inspection procedures and checklists to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements for automotive quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive technology or quality control is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in automotive quality inspection or a related manufacturing quality role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, materials, and assembly techniques.
- Proficiency with various inspection tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
- Excellent observational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
