About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Aircraft Quality Inspector to join their maintenance team based in Pretoria . This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about aviation quality assurance to develop their skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. You will assist in ensuring that all aircraft maintenance and repair work strictly adheres to company standards, manufacturer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and safety of the fleet in a hands-on, on-site capacity.
- Perform detailed inspections of aircraft parts, components, and completed maintenance work to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Review maintenance records, documentation, and work orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and document non-conformities, deviations, and potential quality issues, reporting them to senior inspectors.
- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection and measurement equipment.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge of aircraft systems and quality control procedures.
- A relevant technical qualification in Aviation or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of aircraft maintenance principles and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic aviation environment.
