Leasing Specialist

My client is a leading property investment and asset management company with a strong national footprint. The company is focused on delivering sustainable value through strategic leasing, proactive asset management, and long-term tenant partnerships.

They are looking to appoint an experienced and commercially inclined Senior Leasing Specialist: (National Key Accounts) based in Pretoria.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing and growing national key account tenants across the commercial portfolio. This individual must demonstrate a proven track record in securing new business and negotiating renewals with national tenants, while driving leasing performance in line with portfolio objectives.

• Manage and expand relationships with national key account tenants
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with national and blue-chip tenants
• Lead and conclude lease negotiations, including renewals, expansions, relocations, and restructures
• Develop and implement leasing strategies aligned to portfolio vacancy and income targets
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform deal structuring and positioning
• Collaborate with asset management, property management, and finance teams to optimise portfolio performance
• Prepare and present leasing reports, forecasts, and performance updates to executive management

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Property Studies, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in commercial leasing
• Proven track record of dealing with national tenants in respect of:
  • Securing new business
  • Successfully negotiating renewals
  • Managing national key accounts
