Job OverviewCSIR seeks a Quantum Computing Researcher to develop algorithms and systems for quantum advantage applications. Key Responsibilities- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on quantum hardware-software integration.
- Conduct experiments on quantum processors and simulate quantum systems.
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
- Secure funding through competitive grants for quantum research initiatives.
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity.
- Experience with classical programming (Python, C++, or MATLAB).
- Knowledge of quantum error correction and quantum information theory.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
Candidates must hold a Master's or PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, Computer Science, or a related field. Postdoctoral experience in quantum research is advantageous.
Experience3-5 years of hands-on experience in quantum computing research, including algorithm development or experimental quantum systems. Experience in collaborative R&D projects is preferred.
Salary800,000 - 1,200,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
