About the Role

- Conduct laboratory research to discover and synthesize novel chemical compounds with potential applications.
- Develop and optimize chemical synthesis routes and reaction conditions for new products.
- Perform rigorous analytical testing and characterization of synthesized materials using techniques such as NMR, GC-MS, and HPLC.
- Document research findings, experimental procedures, and results meticulously in lab notebooks and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers and product managers, to scale up new discoveries.
- Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature and technological advancements in relevant chemical fields.
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate research experience in an R&D setting.
- Proven expertise in synthetic organic chemistry techniques and reaction mechanism understanding.
- Proficiency with modern analytical instrumentation and spectroscopic techniques .
- Excellent documentation, data analysis, and scientific communication skills.
- Experience with computational chemistry tools is a plus.
