Job Summary: The Store Assistant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, assisting with product stocking and inventory management, and ensuring the overall smooth operation of the store. This role requires a friendly and proactive approach to customer interactions, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
• Provide product information, answer questions, and offer recommendations to customers.
• Ensure the store is visually appealing by maintaining clean and organized shelves, displays, and aisles.
• Assist with receiving and stocking new merchandise.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate cash register operations.
• Assist with inventory checks and restocking of products as needed.
• Support promotional activities, including setting up displays and special offers.
• Report any stock shortages or discrepancies to management.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
• Maintain a safe and tidy store environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and improve sales.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is essential.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive and professional demeanor.

• Ability to lift and carry light to moderate items
