About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Retail Operations to lead their retail division in Pretoria . This senior management role is responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and optimizing the operational effectiveness of all retail outlets. You will be instrumental in shaping retail strategy, managing a large team of store managers, and implementing initiatives that align with the brand's vision and objectives.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the retail landscape, a passion for customer service, and a proven ability to lead teams to achieve ambitious targets in a competitive market.
- Develop and execute the overall retail operations strategy to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Manage and lead a team of regional and store managers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Ensure consistent execution of brand standards, merchandising guidelines, and operational procedures across all stores.
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee operational budgets, inventory management, and loss prevention strategies for the retail network.
- Implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and performance of retail staff.
- Drive initiatives to improve customer engagement and loyalty programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in retail management, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales and operational efficiency in a multi-unit retail environment.
- Strong understanding of retail merchandising, inventory control, and customer service principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
