Canteen Cashier

A vacancy exists at Medipost Pharmacy for Canteen Cashier, reporting to the Business Optimization Manager. This position is based in Gezina, Pretoria. The responsibility of the job is to serve staff members with coffee/ tea at the coffee station while ensuring that good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.

Operational and quality performance

• Greet Customers in a friendly manner
• Assist customers efficiently
• Display friendly and professional behaviour at all times
• Daily ordering and collecting of consumables
• Ensure there is no wastage of consumable stock
• Report any theft, loss or wastage of stock to the Manager as soon as you become aware of it
• Keeping a good housekeeping standard
• Report any breakage, issue or defect to the manager immediately

P Productivity and availability standards met

• Productive and available according to hours as stipulated in the contract
• Availability to work on weekends when required

Grade 12
