About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead their sales operations in Pretoria . This leadership role involves setting sales goals, developing strategies, and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve ambitious revenue targets. You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and motivating the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring the effective implementation of sales processes.
This is a critical position for an experienced sales leader who can drive business growth, manage complex sales cycles, and contribute to the strategic direction of Our client's business in the Gauteng province. You will play a key part in shaping the future success of the sales department.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth in the Pretoria market.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members.
- Foster a positive and high-performance sales culture, encouraging collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation for the sales department.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a sales management or team leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing sales teams and exceeding targets.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, forecasting, and CRM systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
