Social Care Support Worker

Our client is seeking a compassionate and proactive Social Care Support Worker to join their team in Pretoria , working within the Community & Social Care sector. • Provide direct support and assistance to clients in their homes and communities, based on individualized care plans.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

• Monitor client well-being and report any changes or concerns to the supervising social worker or case manager.
• Help clients develop and maintain life skills, fostering independence and self-reliance.

• Relevant qualification in social work, community development, or healthcare support.
• Previous experience working directly with vulnerable populations is highly desirable.
• Understanding of ethical practice and confidentiality in social care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for fieldwork.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for remote record-keeping and communication.
