Senior iOS Developer

The purpose of this role is to develop and maintain innovative hearing health platforms on the iOS platform, ensuring code is written that is to specification, neat, accurate and scalable. Work focuses on maintaining and upgrading hearing aid solutions platforms while providing guidance from an iOS best practice perspective for products in the rest of the Company. The senior role entails mentoring other iOS developers as well as helping with capacity planning of the team.

• Analysis and Planning (20%):
  Lead the application lifecycle via reusable architecture and user stories. Manage tech research, project estimation, and cross-functional risk mitigation while tracking progress in JIRA.
• Development and Testing (40%):
  Lead development using high-quality code and standards. Manage version control, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable production deployments.
• Reporting and Communication (10%):
  Deliver project updates and risk assessments to stakeholders. Maintain change logs and technical documentation while providing articulated expert insights on project queries.
• Contribution to the Team (20%):
  Mentor teams through code reviews and knowledge sharing. Foster collaboration, contribute to technical recruitment, and interface across teams to ensure successful product delivery.
• Quality Management and Compliance (10%):
  Ensure FDA, CE, ISO, and SOC2 compliance via QMS adherence. Safeguard data per policy and assist the team lead in updating development processes and documentation.

National Senior Certificate

• Tertiary education diploma/degree relevant to software development.
• 3 year degree in computer science or equivalent.

8+ years (relevant working experience)

Experience in implementing and delivering native iOS applications of 1 or more projects.
