Software Developer, Full Stack Developer, Backend Developer

A multi‑disciplinary Software Developer who can design, build, integrade and maintain web platforms, mobile applications, and AI-driven solutions that support a fast‑growing financing company focused on small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This role blends technical depth with innovation, ensuring seamless digital experiences for clients, partners, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain responsive web applications, internal portals, and customer-facing digital tools.
• Mobile App Development: Develop and optimise cross-platform mobile applications (iOS/Android) that support loan applications, client onboarding, and account management.
• AI & Automation: Integrate AI models into business processes, including:
• automated credit scoring
• document classification
• fraud detection
• chatbot and client support automation
• workflow optimisation
• System Architecture & Integration: Design scalable system architectures and integrate with third-party APIs (banking, credit bureaus, payment gateways, CRM/ERP systems).
• Data Engineering & Analytics: Work with structured and unstructured data to support analytics dashboards, risk models, and operational insights.
• Security & Compliance: Implement secure coding practices aligned with POPIA and financial industry standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, credit analysts, operations teams, and leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in software development across web and mobile environments.
• Experience building secure financial or transactional systems is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of credit processes, lending workflows, or SME financing is a plus.
