Must-have skills and experience:- Well rounded developer with 5 to 8 years’ solid development experience
- Back-end and Full Stack Development
- Experience directing AI coding agents (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) as part of the development workflow
- Java certification - advantageous
- AWS certification - advantageous
- Java

- Typescript
- Python

- Solid understanding of RESTful API development
- Experience with version control using Git
- Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
Reference number for this position is GZ61532 which is a permanent position based in Pretoria offering a salary of R840k per annum, negotiable based on experience and ability.
