What you'll bedoing

• Design, develop, and operatescalable, production-ready back-end applications in a cloud-based environment.
• Build and maintain serverlesssolutions using Node.js and AWS technologies.
• Develop and manage APIs, event-driven services, and integrations with external systems and energy partners.
• Work with AWS Lambda, API Gateway,DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, S3, and Cloud Watch.
• Implement automated unit andend-to-end testing to maintain high-quality, reliable code.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Monitor application performance,analyse logs, troubleshoot issues, and support 24/7 production operations.
• Apply cloud security best practices and ensure solutions meet technical and quality standards.
• Collaborate with customers,developers, teams, and external vendors to deliver effective solutions.
• Take ownership of complex technical challenges, identify risks, and drive solutions forward.
• Share knowledge, mentor team members, and contribute to technical design and architectural decisions.

• A relevant IT degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of production experience with Node.js in serverless environments.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and SQS/SNS.
• At least 5 years of automated testing experience, including unit and end-to-end testing.
• Experience leading IT teams or providing technical leadership.
• Strong experience with both SQL andNo
  
  SQL databases.
• Experience with Infrastructure asCode, preferably Cloud Formation.
• Experience designing, configuring,and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Git Hub Actions.
• Knowledge of cloud computing,Kubernetes, serverless architecture, networking, monitoring, and loganalytics.
• Understanding of software design and architecture patterns.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• AWS Developer Associate certification at minimum is preferred as a qualification benchmark, with Professional-level certifications advantageous.
