About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Frontend Blockchain Developer to join their dynamic team in Pretoria . In this role, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge blockchain technology and user-friendly interfaces, developing engaging and intuitive decentralized applications (dApps). You will work closely with backend developers and UX/UI designers to create seamless user experiences that leverage the power of blockchain. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects within the rapidly evolving crypto space and build the next generation of web3 applications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement user-facing features for dApps using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
- Integrate blockchain functionalities, such as wallet connections and transaction management, into the frontend.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional and visually appealing interfaces.
- Optimize frontend performance for speed, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, participating in code reviews.
- Work with backend developers to define and consume APIs for blockchain data and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
3. - Experience with modern frontend frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Familiarity with blockchain concepts, web3 libraries (e.g., ethers.js, web
3.js), and wallet integrations (e.g., Meta Mask). - Understanding of UI/UX principles and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences.
