About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and organized Logistics and Dispatch Officer to manage the coordination of transportation and delivery schedules in Pretoria . This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site presence for essential operational oversight and remote flexibility for planning and administrative tasks. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods, managing driver assignments, and resolving logistical challenges to meet delivery deadlines.

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the dispatch of vehicles and drivers for timely deliveries and collections in the Pretoria region.
• Utilize dispatch software to optimize routes, allocate resources, and track shipments in real-time.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal departments to manage expectations and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, delivery confirmations, and fleet status.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance scheduling and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.

• Proven experience in logistics , dispatch, or transportation management.
• Proficiency with dispatch and route planning software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both on-site and remotely.
• Valid Driver's License is advantageous.
