Senior Delivery Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Supervisor to join their operations in Pretoria . In this dynamic hybrid role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of delivery drivers, ensuring the efficient and timely completion of all delivery schedules. Your duties will encompass route planning, performance monitoring, and maintaining high standards of customer service. You will act as a critical liaison between drivers, warehouse staff, and management, contributing to the smooth functioning of the supply chain while also having flexibility in your work arrangement.

• Supervise and manage a team of delivery drivers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
• Develop and optimize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize transit times.
• Monitor driver performance, adherence to schedules, and customer service standards.
• Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely loading.
• Address and resolve delivery issues, customer complaints, and operational challenges promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies for drivers and vehicles.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in delivery operations or logistics supervision.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong knowledge of route planning and optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
• Familiarity with delivery management software and GPS tracking systems.
• Valid driver's license;
  Professional Driver's Permit (PDP) is a plus.
