Receiving Clerk

Our client requires a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to manage the incoming goods process at their Pretoria warehouse. This role is fundamental to ensuring that all shipments are accurately documented, inspected, and processed efficiently into the inventory system. You will be the first point of contact for deliveries, verifying order accuracy against invoices and reporting any discrepancies or damages. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining accurate records, playing a key role in the smooth operation of the warehouse's supply chain activities.

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, comparing against purchase orders.
• Accurately document all received goods, entering data into the inventory management system promptly.
• Identify and report any discrepancies, shortages, or damages to the appropriate supervisor or department.
• Organize and store received goods in designated areas, ensuring proper stock rotation and accessibility.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment is advantageous.
