Logistics Supervisor

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Logistics Supervisor to lead a team and oversee daily operations within their busy logistics hub in Pretoria. This role involves managing a team of warehouse staff, ensuring the efficient flow of goods, and upholding safety standards. You will be responsible for supervising the receiving, storage, and dispatch processes, as well as coordinating with carriers and internal departments to guarantee operational targets are met.

• Supervise and guide a team of warehouse personnel, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of inbound receipts and outbound shipments.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards within the warehouse.
• Manage inventory accuracy through regular checks and reconciliation processes.
• Coordinate with transport providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Implement operational improvements to enhance workflow and productivity.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a relevant certificate or diploma in logistics is advantageous.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Familiarity with safety protocols in a logistics setting in Pretoria.
