Alera Group is looking for an Employee Benefits Insurance Sales Representative. Direct Bill Commission Management: Oversee the processing and reconciliation of direct bill commissions; ensure timely and accurate recording.
Accounts Receivable Oversight: Review and monitor the company’s accounts receivable process; ensure proper invoicing, collections, and aging analysis.
Carrier Payables Management: Manage carrier payable processes including reconciliation, payment scheduling, and dispute resolution.
Producer/Broker Commission Reconciliation: Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of producer and broker commissions.
Vendor Payables: Oversee vendor payment processes, including invoice verification, approval workflows, and payment execution.
Banking & Cash Management: Manage banking relationships; monitor cash flow; perform bank reconciliations.
Process Improvement & Best Practices: Identify and implement industry best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across accounting functions.
System Utilization: Leverage agency management systems such as Applied Epic, AMS
360, Benefit Point, and Brokerage Builder to streamline operations and reporting.
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience in the insurance brokerage industry.
Strong understanding of brokerage operations and commission structures.
Proficiency in Applied Epic, AMS
360, Benefit Point, and Brokerage Builder.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
