Job Description - Medical Assistant/PRN Clinics )

• Provides direct and indirect patient care and assists the physician, including front office duties such as patient triage, obtaining health history, performing ancillary tests, secretarial duties, and carrying out orders prescribed by the provider.
• Interviews patients, administers injections, completes labs and x-rays, maintains current patient charts, and screens calls within physician guidelines.
• Assists the physician in performing procedures for the comfort and well-being of patients.
• Medical scribing and prior authorizations for physician.

• Medical Assistant certification required.
• Basic Life Support Certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Previous experience working in a physician office preferred.
• Computer skills required.
