Position: Quick Lube Technician

Dealership: Mann-Northway Auto Source

Location: Prince Albert, SK

Responsibilities
  • Perform Oil & filter changes
  • Sell lubrication, safety inspection, and related services
  • Perform complete multi‑point inspection on vehicle, check, and mark all required items on the checklist, present the findings to the Service Advisor
  • Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replace or replenish as necessary
  • Check tire pressure and add air if needed
  • Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
  • Tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and repairs
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor
  • Document all work performed on the repair order
  • Participate in manufacturer‑sponsored training programs as assigned by the service manager
  • Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean
  • Notify the Service Advisor immediately of any change in the vehicle’s appearance or condition
  • Keep the shop area neat and clean
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management
  • Other tasks as assigned
Must‑haves
  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Efficient problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time, and using power tools and hand‑held equipment
  • A valid driver's license and a safe driving history
