Qualifications:

Must have post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety
- Diploma

National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certificate is required

Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) is considered an asset

5+ years of Industrial Construction Site Safety Experience

Expert knowledge and skills in order to generate and promote a positive health and safety culture

A proven track record of excellence in safety and job completion

Proven competency in the operation of key office software and productivity tools such as: MS Office suite of tools

Interpersonal skills – establish direct working relationships and rapport with all levels within the organization,

Communication skills – demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills

Customer service, including developing and improving customer relationships internally and externally

Attention to detail and a focus on producing a quality product in a timely manner

Ability to appropriately handle highly confidential information and situations

Ensure all safety legislation is adhered to and policies and practices are adopted
